This morning
I noticed a little world hanging on the fence at The Point.
A line of
tiny drops of water… and one little drop in particular caught my eye. It was
holding the bright orange of the sunrise, and if you looked closely, you could
even see the reflection of a tree inside it.
Just one
little drop of water.
It made me
think about the little worlds we each live in every day.
We can’t fix
the whole world. We can’t change everything that’s happening around us. But we
do have our own little world — the people we love, the things we do, the
kindness we give, the smiles we share, and the little pieces of beauty we
choose to notice.
Maybe that’s
enough.
Maybe our
job isn’t to change the whole world…
Maybe it’s
simply to make our little corner of it a little brighter.
And if a
tiny drop of water can hold a sunrise and a tree…
I’m thinking
there’s probably a whole lot more in our little worlds than we sometimes
realize. 😊
